The water scarcity trend is projected to continue according to UN, although it also reports on its web site there is enough water on earth for its inhabitants, but “..too much of it is wasted, polluted and unsustainably managed”.
Not only is water disappearing in a grand scale as a result of deforestation and soil erosion, it’s also misplaced and renderd unmanageable by man-made dam projects that misfire such as the Yellow River damming in China that eventually resulted in disaster. In USA and elsewhere, water is being contaminated by industrial practices and unregulated wastewater dumping.
