The Race for EPT Player of the Year

The European Poker Tour (EPT) attracts some of the greatest players on the planet. The combination of huge sums of money, one third of the coveted triple crown and the glorious venues mean that it gains a place in most poker players diaries.

Each Season the juggernaut that is the tour will stop off at one glamorous venue at a time. The pinnacle of each occasion is the Main Event itself but there are always a high number of side events designed to keep the Main Event bad beat sufferers entertained.

We all know that when using the betfair offer code, poker is a combination of skill and luck and over time the best players will always rise to the top. Each year there are a number of EPT awards that reward those players who have risen to the top. Six of the awards are based on a points system. Points are awarded based on finishing order in Main Events and $1,000+ side events. Then you have the EPT Achievement of the Year and Player’s Choice Awards and these are voted on by the EPT players at the end of the year. All award winners receive a full package for the first event of the following season.

The most coveted prize according to those using the betfair promo codes is the EPT Player of the Year award. This award is determined based on points accumulated in Main Event and $1,000+ side events. Season 6 EPT Player of the Year was Max Lykov.

This season the man who is running away from the rest of the pack with a kick to envy Usain Bolt is Portuguese businessman Fernando Brito. He has 1,035 points more than his nearest rival after cashing in the Main Event at Prague and then coming second in the €1,000 NL Turbo Random Bounty tournament.
