Odd Pots Hold'em in Ashland Verified listing

We are a group of students/friends that love to play poker! We started this as a way to get together and socialize while having some fun and keeping to a budget. We play every Friday evening with one cash game (tourney style) at the beginning of the month, $5.00 buy in paying out to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd getting their buy in back.

We hold a point tournament that spans 12 weeks/games and requires member dues of $10.00 a month to play at the final table. Dues are used to fund ice for the cooler, trophy, cards, ect... with the remainder ing to the top winners of the final table, as well as the trophy!

Points are earned from 5th thru 1st place at 1-5 points respectively. Hence, 1st place earns 5 points, 2nd - 4 points, 3rd - 3 points, and so forth.

Anyone is welcome to our weekly games to check out how we play. We are a very relaxed group and are all adults, so adult behaviors do occur. We drink beer and wine generally and some of us are quite 4:20 friendly. Other drugs are strictly forbidden and hard alcohol is only allowed on prior approval of tourney administrator. Cigarettes are smoked outside and smokers are expected to use the ash trays or risk being invited not to return.
