I have played on these electronic tables and feel the same way as everyone else seems to. When I go to a casino I want to have cards, chips, and a dealer. I do not want to sit at the table staring at computer screens, we can all do that from the comforts of our own home. I also felt like I was less in-tuned to the game because of the electronic set-up. For whatever reason I was not paying as much attention to the other players at the table as I normally would. I'm sure if I spent more time playing on these machines I would do a better job observing but it still just isn't the same. I want cards to hold and chips to shuffle!

I think its difficult, human will always have some advantage over the computer. The algorithms could be put inplace by a human also anyways.

Im a short stacker too, and deep player, depending on my mood. Theres nothing wrong with playing that way, dont worry about it. Its a free country, and everyone can implement their own strategies. Most people dont short stack because they think its boring to have the nuts and just win 20 bb. Good luck!

i was playing a tourney and a player kept getting angry when she would lose. she started saying that she worked for sportsbook and that she'd show everyone. well i swear she got bullets at least twice within 5 hands. it was ridiculous. she went on a rampage with crazy cards. She may have been bluffing but her freaking cards made it seem otherwise. Plus I agree...I have asked players how they can make stupid calls or bets and they never reply. Is it no balls or just sportsbook at its best?

i never go all in early in a tourney. Its too easy to get knocked out by a fish who flops a set who went all in with a pair of 5's and challenged you. Then they luck out with a 5 on the river. Your 2 Aces mean nothing then. In fact i figured out long ago that if I don't all in, i can't get knocked out. I go all in if my chip stack gets below 10 x the BB. i'm in trouble and then i only do it when i'm in position and most of the people have folded and the blinds are huge. I guess i've had some bad burns going all in with perfectly good hands.

i remember i was reading some poker guru's book the other day. He is a big tourney winner and is well known for it. He said that about one good hand an hour is average at a live table and about 3 good hands an hour online is average. If you are getting blinded out, play your position, and learn when to bluff, and who to steal blinds from. It was good advice from an old winner.
