It’s December 4 2023. Not sure how active this site/app is but I’m glad I found it. (Also don’t know how why it took me so long to think of looking for an app for finding and posting poker! ).

Anyway…

ATL Poker is my new brand starting up in 2024.
Currently I (we) (same group of homies that have been playing poker for almost ten years now at different houses) have settled on my house all this year.
“The Smokefield House” (pun intended) is our “arena” if you will.

We play every Friday, all night.
We were at .25/.50c years ago but no we play .50/$1 when we start and we raise the blinds at 1am to $1/$2.

Minimum buyin is still set at $20 , but everyone pretty much comes in for the $40 piece most nights. And they all fully intend to come in for about $160 more by the end of the night (or day). (A bunch of try hards).
Avg winning is $200 up to $600.
I’m the ONLY one that has hit the $1000 mark . And $800 has been achieved (still only me).

Are we pro players. Hell no. Do we know what we’re doing..?…. Some of us.
But primarily it’s what we all have always called a “friendly game”.
Everybody here are mostly corp workers or business owners. Equectic group. Black , white, Asian, and (other I guess).
Age right now our youngest player is 28- our oldest is maybe 50.

Lastly, if you’re in Atlanta, and you remember “Mikes Game”, then you probably know everyone here .
