June 2018 posting: Monthly home game in downtown Des Moines, WA, with a od group of guys been running a little over a year now. Cash games, $50 buy-in, a mix of no-limit holdem and pot-limit omaha.

We currently have 45 persons on the contact list, but there is usually an open seat available at any given game. Average age is mid-30s to mid-40s and the experience level ranges from absolute beginner to seasoned amateur. I send an email announcement a few weeks before the game and seats are reserved based on first to respond. The games usually fill up, but occasionally there is an open seat. I am open to adding new players who live in the area

The Club usually runs $0.25 – $0.50 no-limit Texas Hold’em poker ($50 max buy-in) and occasionally runs other games such as pot-limit omaha. We typically run a high-hand pot for the night.

My game room is non-smoking and we try to keep the games laid-back and friendly. I usually order pizza or have other food available, but byob.
