2010 SSSOP Tournament in Columbus Verified listing

Snake’s Summer Series of Poker (SSSOP) is an annual 10-week Texas-Hold ‘em poker tournament. This year’s tournament begins June 17th and ends August 19th.

Each week, players earn points for playing and the player with the most points at the end of the season will be the 2010 SSSOP champion.

Starting with a last-place finish earning 2 points, each sequential placement earns an additional 2 points. 3rd place is rewarded a 1 point bonus, 2nd place is rewarded a 2 point bonus and 1st place is rewarded a 3 point bonus. Players also earn bonus points for inviting new players to the tournament.

The final game on August 19th will determine our champion. For this game points are worth more, with last place is 5 points and each sequential placement earns an additional 5 points. 3rd place is rewarded a 5 point bonus, 2nd place is rewarded a 10 point bonus and 1st place is rewarded a 15 point bonus.

Each player also has the option to receive bonus chips based their point total for ONE GAME ONLY in the season. Players can use this to their advantage for the final game or whenever they feel they need to gain extra points. Players requesting bonus chips must do so during the registration period.
