MARYLAND MARAUDERS – ENTER THE IRON VAULT!

Welcome to the Maryland Marauders, where Texas Hold'em meets pirate lore, competition, tradition, and a game within a game.

We're not your ordinary poker club. The Marauders feature two poker tables, a unique promotion and relegation system, and an ongoing battle for power, reputation, and the legendary Captain's Coin.

TWO TABLES. ONE CREW. ONE ULTIMATE TARGET.

THE CREW TABLE

This is where the competition begins. Players battle it out in Texas Hold'em, build their stacks, and fight for a shot at the Captain's Table.

Every 45 minutes, the player with the LARGEST CHIP STACK at the Crew Table earns a promotion to the Captain's Table.

THE CAPTAIN'S TABLE

This is where the stakes go beyond poker. The Captain's Table is home to Blackbeard, the Black Captain's Chair, and the Captain's Chest.

But earning your way to the Captain's Table doesn't mean you're safe. Every 45 minutes, the player with the LOWEST CHIP STACK at the Captain's Table is relegated back to the Crew Table.

Positions are constantly changing. Fortunes rise and fall. Everyone is fighting for a seat at the top.

THE GAME WITHIN THE GAME

THE CAPTAIN'S COIN: THE HUNT FOR BLACKBEARD

Inside Captain Doug's Iron Vault, there's an entirely different game unfolding alongside the poker.

One pirate begins each game night as BLACKBEARD. He occupies the Black Captain's Chair, controls the Captain's Chest, begins as the first dealer, and is exempt from tribute payments.

Every other pirate has one ultimate objective:

TAKE DOWN BLACKBEARD!

The Captain's Chest grows through opening contributions, orbit tributes, and Blackbeard's all-in victories. The longer Blackbeard survives, the bigger the bounty becomes.

But defeating him comes at a price. To take down Blackbeard, a player must put their FULL STACK on the line in an all-in showdown.

Defeat Blackbeard and claim 75% of the Captain's Chest, along with the legendary Captain's Coin. The remaining 25% stays in the Chest.

If the original Blackbeard survives the entire night without being busted, he earns 50% of the Captain's Chest.

The pirate who defeats Blackbeard claims the Captain's Coin, takes command of the Iron Vault, and becomes the next Blackbeard when the next game begins.

The pirate identities remain tied to their seats. The title changes hands, but the hunt never ends.

The Marauders have their own traditions, characters, rivalries, and history. From the Captain's Coin and Captain's Chest to the Bell Ritual and Iron Vault Chronicles, every gathering adds another chapter to our story.

Victories are celebrated. Reputations are earned. Promotions must be fought for. And legends are written.
